Not quite Digital Literacy

I’ve been catching up with some of the ISPR news. I get all this lovely stuff landing in my Inbox and don’t have time to read it! So set aside some time today to read a little bit. There are just so many interesting things going on.

Imaging that helps reduce arthritic pain, 3D imaging of cities and even inside buildings that is accurate within a few centimetres, another resource provides really good 3D images of the body that would be really useful for Secondary education but could also interest first year nurse or midwifery students.

I suppose they are not directly Digital Literacy issues but for me the way we use these new technologies is part of the digital world. People should know about more of these things, it all adds to that feeling that society is changing. If people are not aware of these things that are happening, they are going to feel very “left behind”.
